Korea Petroleum Industries Company manufactures and sells asphalt, solvents, and building materials in South Korea and internationally. It operates through four divisions: Asphalt, Synthetic Resin, Chemical, and Other. Its products include brown asphalt, construction materials such as tar, water-based polyurethane, water stops, sheet membranes, tapes, cold patches, sealants, emulsions, primers, and ceramic powders, as well as chemical products, refrigerants, waterproofing materials, binders, waxes, and water-reducing agents. These products serve applications in architecture, civil engineering, chemical products, plastics, and sports goods, and are sold to the construction, manufacturing, electronics, films, adhesives, paints, and cosmetics industries. Founded in 1964, the company is headquartered in Seoul, South Korea.
