MSC Co., Ltd. is a South Korean company that researches, develops, produces, markets, and sells food additives. Its products include carrageenan, agar-agar, natural food colors, concentrated fruit and vegetable juices, and extracts from cereals and herbal materials. The company also provides bottling and filling lines, seasonings, spices, flavors, functional food ingredients, sauces, and fertilizers, and it exports its products. Formerly known as Myeong Shin Chemical Ind. Co., Ltd., it changed its name to MSC Co., Ltd. in December 1997. Founded in 1974, it is headquartered in Yangsan, South Korea.
