The company also provides intellectual property services, logistics, wholesale and retail of pre-packaged goods, import and export, property leasing, accommodation and catering, exhibition and conference services, and advertising agency and leasing. Additionally, it engages in project investment and management, cultural and art exchange activities, computer software development and system services, business consulting, film and television program production and distribution, and digital content. Its services are delivered through multi-scenario online and offline reading systems, including websites, cloud stores, third-party and content e-commerce platforms, and offline distribution channels. Formerly known as Sichuan Xinhua Winshare Chainstore Co., Ltd., it changed its name to Xinhua Winshare Publishing and Media Co., Ltd. in 2010. Incorporated in 2005, it is headquartered in Chengdu, the People's Republic of China.

The company said the publishing and distribution industry faces multiple challenges, and policy adjustments and market changes have affected operations.
