Lenzing Aktiengesellschaft, together with its subsidiaries, produces and markets regenerated cellulosic fibers for textiles and nonwovens. It operates through the Division Fiber, Division Pulp, and Others segments, offering lyocell, modal, and viscose fibers under the TENCEL, VEOCEL, LENZING ECOVERO, and LENZING brands for applications including apparel, home and interior textiles, hygiene and personal care products, protective clothing, filtration, medical and industrial uses, and automotive interiors. The company also provides biorefinery products such as biobased acetic acid, furfural, magnesium-lignosulphonate, soda ash, sodium sulphate, and xylose, and engages in training and personnel development and in converting renewable electricity into process heat. It operates in Austria, the rest of Europe, Asia, the Americas, and internationally. Formerly known as Chemiefaser Lenzing AG, it changed its name to Lenzing Aktiengesellschaft in 1984, was founded in 1892, and is headquartered in Lenzing, Austria.
