Groupon Opens Marketplace to AI Builders With New AI Builder Pack

Groupon announced the Groupon AI Builder Pack, opening its local marketplace to independent developers, creators and AI agents. The pack lets builders create a website, app or agent featuring Groupon deals and earn commission on qualifying purchases, with Groupon handling checkout, and AI agents can now search Groupon's deals and buy on a customer's behalf. Groupon deals are already live inside ChatGPT as a plugin and inside Claude as a connector, and the company formed a board-level Artificial Intelligence Committee in March. Chief Executive Officer Dusan Senkypl said agents will become the dominant pathway by which people discover, compare and buy local experiences, while Chief Product Officer Marie Havlikova said the pack gives developers deals, filtering and checkout in one place. Public access is expected during October, with a waitlist open now at groupon.com/hubs/ai-builder-pack.
