Novanta Upgraded to Zacks Rank #2 on Higher Earnings Estimates

Novanta has been upgraded to a Zacks Rank #2 (Buy) following an upward revision in earnings estimates, signaling stronger near-term profit expectations. The company recently issued full-year 2026 revenue guidance of US$1,040 million to US$1,055 million, while first-quarter 2026 results showed modest earnings and margin pressure. The improved outlook may depend on cost controls, a mix shift in Advanced Surgery, and acquisition-driven growth rather than a quick rebound in weaker segments. Key risks include muted organic growth and exposure to trade and tariff pressures.
