Jenoptik Raises 2026 Outlook After Strong First-Half Orders and Profitability
Jenoptik raised its full-year 2026 guidance toward the upper half of prior ranges after reporting a return to revenue growth and a sharp improvement in profitability in the first half. Group order intake rose more than 50% year over year, lifting the book-to-bill ratio to 1.4 and expanding the order backlog to about €825 million. Revenue increased 1% overall, or nearly 3% excluding currency effects, while group EBITDA reached approximately €99 million, up more than 25%, and the EBITDA margin improved by nearly 400 basis points. The company now expects full-year revenue growth of 5% to 9% and an EBITDA margin of 20% to 21%, both in the upper half of its initial ranges. New CEO Dominic Dorfner, who joined on August 1, said the company is updating its strategy process and expects to communicate key findings toward the end of the year at the earliest.
