Samyang Corporation manufactures and sells sugar and engineering plastics in Korea, China, Japan, other Asian countries, Europe, and other international markets. It operates through three segments: Food, Chemicals, and Others. The company supplies engineering plastics such as PC, PBT, TPEE, and M-PET, along with compound products for the automotive, electrical and electronic, medical, and security industries, and produces ion exchange resins for food, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, and catalyst applications. It also provides food ingredients including sugar, starch, starch sweeteners, wheat flour and premix, and oils and fats, as well as specialty ingredients such as allulose, nondigestible maltodextrin, oligosaccharides, sugar alcohols, and flavorings. Founded in 1924 and headquartered in Seoul, South Korea, Samyang Corporation is a subsidiary of Samyang Holdings Corporation.
