Medigen Biotechnology

Medigen Biotechnology Corp. is a biopharmaceutical company based in Taipei, Taiwan, founded in 1990. It focuses on research and development of new drugs and vaccines, cell therapy, advanced nucleic acid testing, generic drugs, medical beauty, and vaccine-related products. Its cell therapies include MAGICELL-NK (natural killer cells) and MAGICELL-GDT (T cells). The company is also developing OBP-301, which has completed Phase I clinical trials in combination with esophageal cancer in Japan, is in Phase I trials with immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICI) for esophageal cancer patients in Japan, and is in Phase II studies with ICI for head and neck cancer and gastric cancer patients in the United States.
