Kasumigaseki Hotel REIT Investment Corp. is Japan's first publicly listed REIT focused exclusively on hotels. It is sponsored by real estate developer Kasumigaseki Capital Co., Ltd. Leveraging the development and operational capabilities of the Kasumigaseki Capital Group, the REIT invests in multi-occupancy hotels across Japan, a segment in short supply in the domestic hotel market. It aims to support Japan's advancement as a tourism nation, achieve sustainable growth, and enhance unitholder value by building a portfolio differentiated from other REITs through hotels addressing social challenges in Japan's tourism industry, such as locations with promising tourism-driven leisure demand, room types suitable for group accommodation, and labor-saving operations.
