Kyoei Steel Ltd. manufactures, processes, and sells billets and steel products in Japan, Vietnam, North America, and other international markets. It operates through three segments: Domestic Steel Business, Overseas Steel Business, and Material Recycling Business. Its products include concrete reinforcing bars, merchant bars such as flat bars, I-beams, equal angle bars, and round bars, billets, and threaded rebars and joints for threaded rebars. The company also collects, transports, and treats general, industrial, and medical waste; manufactures and sells casting products; and is involved in recycled crushed ballast, construction materials, steel products and raw and secondary materials, in-plant loading and unloading contracting, automobile transportation and insurance agency businesses, iron, aluminum, and nonferrous metal scrap collection, processing, and sales, and the construction and operation of a multi-purpose seaport. Incorporated in 1947, it is headquartered in Osaka, Japan.
