Metalart Corporation manufactures, machines, and sells hot-forged, precision, and closed-die-forged products for automobiles, construction and agricultural machinery, ships, and other industrial machinery in Japan and internationally. Its products include engine parts such as crankshafts and connecting rods, precision forged gears, CVT products, manual and automatic transmission gears and parts, suspension components, sprockets, arm and bucket components, marine engine components, track links, chassis parts, HV parts, camshafts, construction machinery parts, shipping-related products such as cleaning equipment parts and connecting rods, hanger sockets, and axle gears. The company also manufactures, heat-treats, and surface-treats precision forged products, produces dies for hot and cold forging, and performs hot press forging, hot hammer forging, and machining. Formerly known as Goto Drop Forging Co., Ltd., it changed its name to Metalart Corporation in October 1991; it was founded in 1916 and is headquartered in Kusatsu, Japan.
