Its fire alarm systems include automatic and emergency alarm systems, fire reporting devices, fixed water sprinkler systems, apartment house automatic fire alarm systems, dialers to fire stations, high sensitivity aspirating smoke detection systems, smoke control systems, and residential smoke alarms. Information and communication systems cover TV master antenna, public address, intercom, ITV, LAN, and network camera systems, while security systems include intruder detection and alarm, access control, and key management. Fire-extinguishing systems comprise sprinkler, hydrant, foam, CO2, N2, water cannon, and tunnel fire prevention systems. The company operates in Japan and internationally, was formerly known as Tokyo Hochiki Co., Ltd., changed its name to Hochiki Corporation in July 1972, was incorporated in 1918, and is based in Tokyo, Japan.
