Azbil Corporation provides automation products and services worldwide through three segments: Building Automation, Advanced Automation, and Life Automation. The Building Automation segment supplies HVAC control and security systems for commercial buildings and production facilities, and also develops building automation products such as controllers, valves, and sensors. The Advanced Automation segment provides automation control systems, switches, and sensors, along with engineering and maintenance services for industrial plants and factories. The Life Automation segment offers meters and measuring instruments for lifeline utilities and residential central air-conditioning systems for residential developers. The company was formerly known as Yamatake Corporation and changed its name to Azbil Corporation in April 2012. Founded in 1906, Azbil Corporation is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan.
