BenQ Materials Corporation manufactures and sells film sheet products and medical equipment across China, Taiwan, Japan, the United States, and other international markets. The company develops, produces, and sells electronic chemical membrane products, display technologies and materials such as polarizers, optical films, touch panel materials, ultra-precision machining products, PDLS smart film displays, and industrial tapes. It also offers advanced battery materials including separators, healthcare products for vision care, skin care, wound management, and medical sterilization packaging, as well as textile products like water-proof breathable textiles and customized materials such as reactive silicone. Formerly known as Daxon Technology Inc., it changed its name to BenQ Materials Corporation in June 2010, was incorporated in 1998, and is headquartered in Taoyuan City, Taiwan.
