The company also develops and sells real estate, operates leisure facilities such as hot springs and golf courses, and manages hotels, department stores, and supermarkets. It was formerly known as Keihin Electric Express Railway Co., Ltd. and changed its name to Keikyu Corporation in October 2010. Founded in 1898, it is headquartered in Yokohama, Japan.
