Huadian Energy Company Limited generates and sells electric power in China, using thermal sources, and also provides heat services. It is involved in coal production and sales. The company has an installed thermal power capacity of 25,843,300 kilowatts. Formerly known as Heilongjiang Electric Power Co. Ltd., it changed its name to Huadian Energy Company Limited in July 2004. Founded in 1993, it is based in Harbin, China.
