AC Immune Ltd

AC Immune SA is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company that discovers, designs, and develops medicines and therapeutic and diagnostic products for the prevention and treatment of neurodegenerative diseases associated with protein misfolding. Its SupraAntigen and Morphomer platforms are designed to generate biologics and small molecules that selectively interact with misfolded proteins common in a range of neurodegenerative diseases. The company develops Crenezumab, a humanized, conformation-specific monoclonal antibody to slow Alzheimer's disease progression, and Semorinemab, an investigational anti-Tau monoclonal antibody targeting the N-terminal portion of the Tau protein to slow its spread between neurons. It is also developing ACI-24.060 for Down syndrome-related Alzheimer's disease, ACI-7104.056 for Parkinson's disease, and ACI-35.030 to stimulate the immune system to produce antibodies against pathological phosphorylated Tau. Diagnostic programs include PI-2620 for Alzheimer's disease and non-AD tauopathies, and ACI-12589 and ACI-15916, alpha-synuclein PET tracers to support differential diagnosis of multiple system atrophy. The company is researching Morphomer Tau aggregation inhibitors, Morphomer alpha-synuclein inhibitors, and NeuroOrphan tauopathies, and generates discovery and preclinical molecules targeting neurodegenerative diseases, including diagnostics for TDP-43, alpha-synuclein, and NLRP3. It has license agreements and collaborations with Genentech, Janssen Pharmaceuticals, Life Molecular Imaging, and Eli Lilly. AC Immune SA was incorporated in 2003 and is headquartered in Lausanne, Switzerland.
