Ainos, Inc. is a dual-platform company focused on artificial intelligence-based smell technologies and immune therapeutics. It offers AI Nose, an AI-based electronic olfaction system that uses a smell language model to digitize scent into Smell IDs and machine-readable data. Its platforms serve semiconductor manufacturing, robotics, smart manufacturing, senior care, and women's health. The company also develops VELDONA, a low-dose oral interferon platform for human and animal health applications targeting rare, autoimmune, and infectious diseases. Formerly known as Amarillo Biosciences, Inc., it changed its name to Ainos, Inc. in May 2021. Incorporated in 1984, it is based in Houston, Texas, and is a subsidiary of Taiwan Carbon Nano Technology Corporation.
