BlackRock Credit Allocation Income Trust

BlackRock Credit Allocation Income Trust is a closed-end balanced mutual fund launched by BlackRock, Inc. It is co-managed by BlackRock Advisors, LLC and BlackRock (Singapore) Limited, and invests in fixed income markets worldwide. For the fixed income portion of its portfolio, it primarily invests in securities with an average credit quality of BBB by Standard & Poor's Corporation, including investment grade corporate bonds, high yield bonds, bank loans, preferred securities, convertible bonds, and derivatives. The fund was formerly known as BlackRock Preferred & Equity Advantage Trust, was formed on December 27, 2006, and is domiciled in the United States.
