CRH plc provides building materials solutions in Ireland, the United States, the United Kingdom, the rest of Europe, and internationally. It operates through three segments: Americas Materials Solutions, Americas Building Solutions, and International Solutions. The company offers building materials for public infrastructure, commercial and residential buildings, and transportation infrastructure, as well as paving and construction services. It produces and sells aggregates, cementitious materials, ready mixed concrete, mortars, and asphalt, and also manufactures and supplies building products for the built environment in North America. Additionally, it provides building and infrastructure solutions for utility infrastructure such as water, energy, transportation, and telecommunications projects, and produces precast and pre-stressed concrete products, concrete and polymer-based products, crushed stone, sand, gravel, granite, limestone, sandstone, fly ash, pozzolans, synthetic gypsum, calcined clay, and ground granulated blast-furnace slags, as well as fencing and railing systems, lawn and garden products, packaged concrete mixes, and concrete masonry and hardscape products. CRH plc was founded in 1936 and is based in Dublin, Ireland.
