Ferrexpo plc and its subsidiaries mine, develop, process, produce, market, export, and sell iron ore pellets to the metallurgical industry. It operates two mines and a processing plant near Kremenchuk in Ukraine, a fleet of vessels on the Rhine and Danube waterways, and an ocean-going vessel providing top-off services. Its activities also include mining, ore processing, metallurgical beneficiation and pelletizer plants, transportation and logistics, and marketing. The company operates in Turkey, the rest of Europe, China, South East Asia, the Middle East, and North Africa, serving premium steel mills. Incorporated in 2005, it is headquartered in Baar, Switzerland.
