Eocene Ltd. is a biopharmaceutical company focused on developing therapeutics for liver diseases and related indications. Its lead candidate, Aramchol, is a first-in-class synthetic fatty acid-bile acid conjugate in a Phase III study as an oral treatment for non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) in overweight or obese patients with prediabetes or type II diabetes mellitus. Aramchol is also being evaluated in the Phase IIa ARRIVE Study in HIV-associated non-alcoholic fatty liver disease and lipodystrophy.
