Global Partners LP purchases, sells, gathers, blends, stores, and transports gasoline and gasoline blendstocks, distillates, residual oil, renewable fuels, crude oil, and propane for wholesalers, retailers, and commercial customers. It operates in three segments: Wholesale, Gasoline Distribution and Station Operations (GDSO), and Commercial. The Wholesale segment sells heating oil, branded and unbranded gasoline and blendstocks, diesel, kerosene, and residual oil to retailers and wholesale distributors, transporting products by railcar, barge, truck, and pipeline. The GDSO segment sells gasoline to station operators and sub-jobbers, operates convenience stores and prepared food sales, and offers car wash, lottery, and ATM services and station leases, while the Commercial segment delivers unbranded gasoline, heating oil, diesel, kerosene, residual oil, and bunker fuel to public-sector customers and sells custom blended fuels. The company also transports petroleum products and renewable fuels by rail from the mid-continent region of the United States and Canada. Global Partners LP was founded in 2005 and is based in Waltham, Massachusetts.
