IO Biotech, Inc. is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company that develops immune-modulating therapeutic cancer vaccines based on its T-win technology platform. Its lead candidate, IO102-IO103, targets cancer cells and immune-suppressive cells in the tumor microenvironment expressing indoleamine 2,3-dehydrogenase (IDO) and programmed death-ligand (PD-L1); it is in a phase 3 trial for melanoma and phase 2 trials for lung, head and neck, and melanoma cancers. The company also develops IO112, a single Arginase 1-derived peptide candidate targeting T cells that recognize epitopes from Arginase 1, and IO170, a TGFß1 vaccine for solid tumors. Incorporated in 2014 and based in Copenhagen, Denmark, IO Biotech, along with its affiliate, filed a voluntary petition for liquidation under Chapter 7 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware on March 31, 2026.
