Nvidia Partners with Six Wall Street Financial Institutions to Set Up a 500 Billion Dollar Finance Platform
Nvidia has signed a memorandum of understanding with six leading Wall Street financial institutions to establish a financial support platform for computing, aiming to raise over 500 billion US dollars from external investors to accelerate the construction of data centers and AI infrastructure worldwide. The six partners are Apollo, BlackRock, Blackstone, Brookfield, Goldman Sachs, and KKR. Meanwhile, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang announced that the company has the option to guarantee up to 25 percent of the loan amount under the agreement, equivalent to approximately 125 billion US dollars. The project aims to help AI developers, enterprises, government agencies, and cloud providers gain broader access to infrastructure powered by Nvidia chips, while offering long-term investment opportunities to asset management firms and private equity. This move comes amid surging demand for AI computing, with tech giants signaling increased AI capital expenditure, expected to exceed 730 billion US dollars this year. However, Nvidia has not yet disclosed details on financial terms, the investment burden share of each institution, or the timeline for the phased injection of the 500 billion dollars.
