Gladstone Land is a publicly traded real estate investment trust that owns farmland and farm-related properties in major U.S. agricultural markets. It currently owns 142 farms totaling approximately 98,000 acres across 14 states, plus nearly 56,000 acre-feet of water assets in California. Its farms primarily grow fresh produce annual row crops such as berries and vegetables, as well as permanent crops including almonds, blueberries, figs, olives, pistachios, and wine grapes. The company pays monthly distributions to stockholders and has made 162 consecutive monthly cash distributions on its common stock since its January 2013 IPO, with a current distribution of $0.0467 per share per month, or $0.5604 per year. Gladstone Land Corporation was established in 1997 and incorporated in Maryland.
