TPG Mortgage Investment Trust, Inc. is a residential mortgage real estate investment trust based in New York, New York, and incorporated in 2011. Its investment portfolio includes residential investments such as non-agency loans, agency-eligible loans, home equity loans, re- and non-performing loans, and non-agency residential mortgage-backed securities, as well as commercial loans and commercial mortgage-backed securities. The company qualifies as a REIT for federal income tax purposes and generally would not be subject to federal corporate income taxes if it distributes at least 90% of its taxable income to stockholders. It was formerly known as AG Mortgage Investment Trust, Inc. and changed its name to TPG Mortgage Investment Trust, Inc. in December 2025; it operates as a subsidiary of TPG Inc.
