Pampa Energía S.A. is an integrated power company in Argentina. It operates through Oil and Gas; Generation; Petrochemicals; and Holding, Transportation and Others segments. The company has 5,472 MW of installed capacity from thermal, hydroelectric, and wind sources, and explores for and produces oil and gas in Neuquén and Río Negro. It also produces petrochemicals such as styrene, synthetic rubber, and polystyrene, operates a 22,445 km high-voltage transmission network, and holds a natural gas transportation concession with 9,248 km of pipelines. Formerly Pampa Holding S.A., it changed its name in September 2008, was incorporated in 1945, and is based in Buenos Aires.
