PUMP Token Prints First Golden Cross as Revenue Hits Seven-Month High

Pump.fun's PUMP token has printed its first golden cross since launching in mid-2025, with its 50-day EMA crossing above its 200-day EMA as weekly revenue hit a seven-month high. The token bottomed at $0.001491 in July and touched $0.003 intraday Monday before settling near $0.002733. DefiLlama puts Pump.fun at $11.52 million in seven-day revenue, fourth among all crypto protocols behind only Tether, Circle, and Canton, and ahead of Polymarket, GMGN, Tron, and Axiom Pro. Annualized revenue now runs at $458 million against a $1.09 billion market cap, and the team's buyback and burn mechanism sent $5.33 million into PUMP purchases last week alone, offsetting 15.9% of total supply. Pump also launched Callout Rewards on August 13 and cut app trading fees to 0% on Solana and 0.1% crosschain, driving weekly app traders up 23% and a new all-time high in daily active traders last Thursday.

Pump.fun, Solana's Largest Memecoin Launchpad, Sees PUMP Token Briefly Surge 30% After Major Unlock

PUMP, the native token of Pump.fun, the largest memecoin launchpad on Solana, briefly surged more than 30% over five days around its first major token unlock. An unlock of 82.5 billion PUMP was scheduled for July 12, but according to on-chain analyst EmberCN, 57.279 billion PUMP were distributed to 121 team and investor wallets on July 15. About 67.9% of recipient wallets still held their full allocation, while less than 16.7% had moved their entire allocation out. The current price is roughly 60% below the ICO price of 0.004 dollars, leaving early investors with significant unrealized losses. Pump.fun has carried out an aggressive buyback program, including burning approximately 370 million dollars worth of PUMP in April 2026, but daily revenue has fallen from about 3.2 million dollars in September 2025 to around 920,000 dollars by mid-July 2026, which could limit the pace of future buybacks.
