Scilex Holding Company acquires, develops, and commercializes non-opioid pain management products for acute and chronic pain. Its commercial products include ZTlido (lidocaine topical system) 1.8% for neuropathic pain associated with postherpetic neuralgia, ELYXYB, an oral solution for acute migraine treatment in adults, and GLOPERBA, a liquid oral colchicine for gout flare prophylaxis. The company also develops three product candidates: SP-102 (SEMDEXA), a viscous gel formulation of dexamethasone sodium phosphate for epidural injections that has completed a phase 3 study for lumbosacral radicular pain or sciatica; SP-103, a 5.4% lidocaine topical system for chronic neck and low back pain that has completed a phase 2 trial; and SP-104, low-dose naltrexone hydrochloride delayed-release capsules that have completed phase 1 trials for fibromyalgia. Scilex has agreements with Oishi and Itochu for lidocaine tape products, Lifecore Biomedical for SEMDEXA manufacturing and development services, and Tulex Master for SP-104 clinical supplies.
