Its interests include the Cambay gas field, which covers 161 square kilometers in the Cambay basin onshore Gujarat, India, and the Medway hub Camelot carbon capture and storage project in the southern North Sea. The company was formerly known as Oilex Ltd and changed its name to Synergia Energy Ltd in July 2022. Incorporated in 1997, it is based in Perth, Australia.
