AT&T Inc. provides telecommunications and technology services worldwide through two segments: Communications and Latin America. The Communications segment offers wireless voice and data services, sells devices such as handsets and wireless data cards through company-owned stores, agents, and third-party retailers, and provides internet, fiber, broadband, fixed wireless, and managed professional services, as well as legacy voice and data, VPN, wholesale, outsourcing, and IP services. It also offers broadband, legacy telephony, and VoIP services to residential customers, marketing under brands including AT&T, AT&T Business, Cricket, AT&T PREPAID, AT&T Fiber, and AT&T Internet Air. The Latin America segment provides postpaid and prepaid wireless services in Mexico under the AT&T and Unefon brands and sells smartphones through its stores, agents, and third-party retailers. Formerly known as SBC Communications Inc., the company changed its name to AT&T Inc. in 2005, was incorporated in 1983, and is based in Dallas, Texas.
