Rigetti Computing shares fell 22.6% in July as investors rotated out of unprofitable technology companies. The quantum computing firm reported an operating loss of $54 million on revenue of just $9.5 million in the first half of 2026, while its price-to-sales ratio stood at 444. The stock regained some ground after second-quarter revenue surged 185% to $5.14 million, slightly above Wall Street estimates, and the company holds $541.3 million in cash with no debt. Despite the quarterly beat, heavy spending and a lack of profits continue to make the stock highly volatile and speculative.
