3M reported second-quarter adjusted earnings that beat analyst expectations and raised its full-year 2026 outlook. The company posted non-GAAP earnings per share of $2.40, topping the consensus estimate by $0.15, while adjusted revenue of $6.5 billion exceeded forecasts by $100 million and grew 5.4 percent year-over-year. For the full year, 3M now expects adjusted total sales growth of more than 4.5 percent, above the 3.58 percent consensus, reflecting adjusted organic sales growth of more than 3.5 percent. The company also guided for adjusted operating income margin expansion of 70 to 80 basis points, adjusted earnings per share in the range of $8.80 to $8.95 compared with the $8.74 consensus, and adjusted operating cash flow of $5.8 billion to $6.0 billion, contributing to more than 100 percent adjusted free cash flow conversion. Shares rose 1.2 percent in pre-market trading.
