The Supreme Administrative Court has ruled to dismiss the case against Digital Phone Company Limited, or DPC, a subsidiary of Advanced Info Service Public Company Limited, or ADVANC, in a dispute with National Telecom Public Company Limited, or NT, over charges for telecommunications equipment and network usage during the temporary protection period after the concession ended. As a result, DPC will not have to pay 1.223 billion baht. This case, docket number 1651/2558, is now final. DPC's disputes total three cases with a combined value of 3.202 billion baht plus interest at 7.5% per year. The other two cases, docket numbers 918/2558 and 741/2559, with a combined value of 1.979 billion baht, remain under consideration by the Supreme Administrative Court. Kasikorn Securities sees the ruling as positive momentum for ADVANC and notes that the recent sharp decline in the share price has brought its valuation back to a more attractive level, supporting a dividend yield of 4.8%, with a target price of 385.34 baht.
