Abbott LaboratoriesCE Mark approval for Libre Duo and Libre Duo 10 Day, world's first dual glucose-ketone CGM, plus strong adoption of AVEIR pacemaker and PFA catheters.

Abbott's Medical Devices unit, its largest segment, generated $21.39 billion in 2025 sales, up 11.9% year-over-year, and continued strong into the first quarter of 2026 with 8.5% comparable revenue growth led by cardiovascular devices. Ahead of second-quarter 2026 earnings on July 16, the company expects sustained momentum from recent developments including the CE Mark approval for Libre Duo and Libre Duo 10 Day, the world's first dual glucose-ketone continuous monitoring technology, which should help Diabetes Care return to double-digit growth. Rhythm Management is outperforming the broader market on strong adoption of the AVEIR leadless pacemaker, while Heart Assist Devices and the expanding rollout of Volt and TactiFlex Duo PFA catheters in Electrophysiology are expected to further boost results. Abbott shares have fallen 30.8% over the past year, underperforming the industry's 28% decline, and the stock currently carries a Zacks Rank of 4, or Sell.
