AbbVie IncPositive Phase 3 results for epcoritamab plus lenalidomide show significant improvement in progression-free survival for DLBCL patients.
AbbVie announced positive topline results from the Phase 3 EPCORE DLBCL-4 trial, showing that the combination of epcoritamab and lenalidomide significantly improved progression-free survival compared to rituximab plus gemcitabine plus oxaliplatin in patients with relapsed or refractory diffuse large B-cell lymphoma. The risk of disease progression and death was reduced by 60% based on U.S. censoring rules and by 56% based on censoring rules outside the U.S., both with p-values less than 0.0001. The safety profile of the combination was consistent with the known profiles of the individual agents. AbbVie and Genmab plan to engage global regulatory authorities to discuss next steps, and the data will be submitted for presentation at a future medical meeting.
