Absci Corporation shares climbed 11% after Eli Lilly made a $40 million investment and provided development support for ABS-201, Absci's prolactin receptor antibody. The investment extends Absci's cash runway into the second half of 2028 and comes alongside encouraging early Phase 1 data for ABS-201. Absci recently reported second-quarter 2026 results showing a net loss of $33.21 million, wider than a year ago, while basic and diluted loss per share from continuing operations narrowed to $0.21. A Phase 2 endometriosis trial for ABS-201 is planned for late 2026, with Absci retaining rights to the program.
