AcadeMedia ABRecord Q4 sales and margin expansion, with adjusted EBITDA up 16.2% and margin improving to 9.8%.

AcadeMedia AB reported record fourth-quarter results with net sales up 10.6% to SEK 5.7 billion and adjusted EBITDA up 16.2% to SEK 552 million, improving the margin to 9.8% from 9.3%. For the full year, net sales increased 7% to SEK 20.4 billion, and adjusted EBITDA rose 15.3% to SEK 1.5 billion, bringing the margin to 7.4%, within the company's 7%-8% target range for the first time in several years. Organic growth in Q4 was 10.2%, and student numbers increased 5.2%. Free cash flow in Q4 declined to SEK 354 million from SEK 532 million, primarily due to acquisition-related payments and a SEK 70 million negative calendar effect from municipal payment timing in Norway. The preschool international segment was a key driver, with net sales up 16% to SEK 2.3 billion and adjusted EBITDA up 24.9% to SEK 260 million, though CFO Petter Sylvan cautioned that the coming year will be a consolidation year with no similar margin increases expected. Leverage stood at 0.9 times adjusted EBITDA, well below the 3 times target, and the company noted regulatory changes in Sweden will require IT investments of up to SEK 25 million.
