Private sector employment increased by 98,000 jobs in June, while annual pay rose 4.4 percent, according to the ADP National Employment Report. Job creation was uneven, with financial activities and information among the gainers, while leisure and hospitality posted a sixth month of weak hiring. Pay gains for job-stayers held steady at 4.4 percent, while year-over-year pay growth for job-changers accelerated to 6.6 percent. The May total of 122,000 jobs added was unchanged.
