Record revenue, EBITDA more than doubled, and strong guidance drove the stock surge.

AeroVironment shares surged over 20% this week after the drone and defense specialist reported record fiscal fourth-quarter revenue of $641.6 million, with organic growth of about 31%. Adjusted EBITDA more than doubled to $140.1 million, and funded backlog climbed to $1.2 billion from $726.6 million a year earlier. Management expects its counter-drone business, which generated roughly $200 million in fiscal 2026, to rival or exceed its loitering munitions franchise within three to five years. The company guided for fiscal 2027 revenue of $2.125 billion to $2.225 billion, implying about 10% growth at the midpoint.
