AIS has joined forces with the Tourism Authority of Thailand to welcome Chinese tourists during the Mid-Autumn Festival and China's National Day holiday, known as Golden Week, under the Nihao Month 2026 project. The collaboration is being driven by Benjaporn Kamphet, Head of Prepaid Customer Marketing at AIS, and Thapanee Kiatphaibool, Governor of the Tourism Authority of Thailand. AIS is providing an additional 8GB of free 5G internet, valid for one day, with 10,000 privileges available for tourists holding Chinese passports, to facilitate communication, information searches, and sharing experiences throughout their travels. In addition, AIS is supporting the Amazing Thailand Mid-Autumn KOLs FAM Trip from September 26 to 29, 2026, bringing media and influencers from the People's Republic of China to experience the charms of Thailand and try the AIS TOURIST SIM, a SIM card designed for foreign tourists on the AIS 5G network that covers the entire country, along with special privileges from partners spanning travel services, tourist attractions, Chao Phraya River cruises, and Muay Thai experiences.
