AIXTRON SEOptoelectronics orders surge on AI data center demand for 800G/1.6T optical connectivity

Aixtron reported second-quarter orders of €215 million, with optoelectronics accounting for 75% of the total as AI data centers accelerate adoption of 800G and future 1.6T optical connectivity. Revenue rose to €115 million from €59 million in the first quarter, while EBIT returned to a €15 million profit and free cash flow reached €114 million.
