Alaska Airlines has launched nonstop flights between Los Angeles International Airport and Manuel Márquez de León International Airport in La Paz, Baja California Sur. The new direct route connects travelers from Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, San Diego, San Jose, Sacramento, and other key U.S. gateways via Los Angeles, making the destination more accessible than ever. Luz María Zepeda, Director General of La Paz Tourism Trust, called the service an important milestone that strengthens the city’s connection to a key international market. La Paz offers pristine beaches, protected natural areas including the UNESCO World Heritage site Espíritu Santo Island, and authentic Baja cuisine and culture, positioning it as a sustainable alternative to more crowded beach destinations.
