Alaska Airlines has promoted Chief Financial Officer Shane Tackett to the additional role of President, effective June 29, 2026. Tackett, who has been with the airline for more than 25 years, will continue to oversee finance, fleet management, investor relations, supply chain, internal audit, and information technology, while also taking on responsibility for the commercial organization led by Chief Commercial Officer Andrew Harrison. CEO Ben Minicucci said the move strengthens leadership capacity as the company executes its Alaska Accelerate plan and integrates Hawaiian Airlines. Tackett has served as CFO since 2020 and played a key role in the Hawaiian Airlines acquisition and balance-sheet strengthening.
