Aletheia Capital raised its price target for Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company to NT$3,500 while maintaining a Buy rating. The firm also lifted its forecasts for TSMC's high-end node capacity growth to 70,000 wafers per month in 2026, 150,000 in 2027, and 170,000 in 2028. Aletheia expects TSMC's wafer fabrication equipment expenditure to double year-over-year next year, with a double-digit increase projected in 2028. The firm noted that CoWoS technology will be prioritized over the next 12 months, while SoIC and CoPoS will gain importance in the latter half of 2027 and 2028. Revenue and earnings growth should accelerate in 2028 after a compound annual growth rate of more than 30% from 2024 to 2027, which the market has so far overestimated.
