Alphabet's long-term debt reached $98 billion at midyear, up from about $47 billion at the start of 2026, before this sale added $25 billion. The company raised its 2026 capital expenditure guidance to $195 billion to $205 billion, and capital spending more than doubled year over year to $80.6 billion in the first half.
