Amata Corporation Public Company LimitedQ2/69 net profit surged 1,032% YoY, beating analyst estimates by 38-40% on strong gross margins and a special item.

AMATA, or Amata Corporation Public Company Limited, reported a net profit of 1,580 million baht for the second quarter of 2026, up 1,032% from the same period last year and 15% from the previous quarter. This exceeded analyst estimates from Kasikorn Securities by 38% and the market consensus by 40%, driven by strong gross margins and a large special item. Meanwhile, the sales backlog at the end of Q2/69 stood at 1.84 billion baht. The company expects quarterly land sales revenue to maintain a level of 2,200-2,900 million baht, supported by the start of land transfers in new industrial estates such as Amata City Chonburi 2 from Q3/2025 and improved transfer processes. Additionally, the board approved a capital increase for Amata Digital City Company Limited (ADC), a wholly-owned subsidiary, from 1 million baht to 500 million baht, to fully launch its industrial real estate rental business, covering ready-built factories, warehouses, and build-to-suit buildings. The first customer is expected to be recognized in the second half of 2026, with an additional positive factor from the gain on the sale of ASCLT 1 in Vietnam. Consequently, the recommendation is "Buy" for AMATA shares with a mid-2027 target price of 35 baht.
