Amata Corporation Public Company LimitedQ2/69 net profit surged 1,032% to 1.58B baht, driven by land transfers and an extraordinary gain from selling a Vietnam JV.

AMATA shares closed the morning session at 32.00 baht, up 3.50 baht or 12.28%, after reporting second-quarter 2026 net profit of 1.58 billion baht, an increase of more than 1,032% from the same period last year. The result was driven by land transfer revenue covering 288 rai, mostly land in Chonburi industrial estates with a gross margin as high as 66.16%, plus an extraordinary gain of about 366 million baht from selling an investment in a joint venture in Vietnam. Analysts see second-half performance remaining strong, supported by a high backlog of sales awaiting transfer, while industrial estate operators continue to benefit from foreign direct investment in semiconductors, PCBs, and data centers in the Eastern Economic Corridor.
